買得DSLR就係要佢既function同換鏡。越高級，改setting 既function越直接。
如果乜都唔識，又唔知頭唔知路，點解有自動波civic唔揸（P&S)，有自動波既CSX唔楂(prosumer) ...

Actually, more function/features on a CIVIC then Ferrari tim ..

However, FERRARI is STATUS of high class, rich etc ..  CIVIC is ..  rice ..  teenage ..  no money ...  so .. it does make sense 我有錢買法拉利，點解我要楂 ...

But camera ...   not for show off ...  not status ...  not mean using D3X is rich, D3000 is poor ar ma ...

agree on the comparsion with cars
I am driving a 棍仔 Fit right now
will  not even think about getting better car until I can drive better
same for my camera 400D/Xti
before I know exactly what I want in all my pictures, I will not upgrade the body

anyways,  no tax + a Lowerpro bag is quite a good deal for a poor beginner

Let's be fair ... a Rebel vs a 50D for example, ... the Rebel is just lighter and have a (totally) un-friendly user Interface for manual control ...  but the bottom line, both of them can have manul control over shutter, aperature, ISO, white balance etc ... as a beginner, he can still learn from it.

Extra options on the higher model doesn't quite matter in that regards ... just gravy IMO.
