I always wonder, usually all cashiers will put different stuff in different plastic bags base on their "category" accordingly, it's not surprise to see they put only a pack of eggs in one bag kind of thing, for they just want to "separate" the different food (which I think it's a lot of waste). Then how come they don't mind to put all kinds of stuff in one recycle bag?
If everything in one bag could be too heavy la... grocery could be heavy la..
I usually bought a dozen or more oranges, apple..
3 or 4 packs of veggie.. couple meat... i think it makes sense to have a few bags.. because of the weight...
I have 環保袋 in car..but once I carried it back home...sometimes I forgot to put it back to the car..
It's good for the company themselves too....
They save cost in bags
Don't have to be responsible if the bag poorly...leading eggs to crack, glasses break, raw meat leaks, etc.
I notice T&T don't put things in the bags for you now if you have your own, you got to package yourself. But I think some places, you just hand then your recycled bag and they will put things in there for you. Anyone knows where? Although I don't mind using my own recycled bags but I still appreciate the service.
Exactly!
I know it's because of health issues. But since they seem like not concerning to put everything in one recycle bag, why they should have to worry to separate different stuff in that many unnecessary plastic bags in the first place?! Does it imply, once the customer BYOB, they have no more liability? (not merely pointing to TnT, but also many other stores)
T&T has the best and tough plastic bag for me to use us garbage bag, maybe I should just bug garbage bag? But anyone know are those garbage bag (those meant to be garbage bag) environmental friendly?
Hm... for some reason I do like the veggie to be separated from bread. The veggie is often wet and with a bit of mud outside (even the veggie bag...it's still wet outside). It's not that good if the mud/dirt sticks with the bag of the dry food product lor...
When I bring my own bag to the supermarket, I do bring a couple to separate meat/veggie with dry product la...
Even sampoo...one time..the bottle leaks... if it's put together w/ the food...then need to throw away the food la.. >_<
