is it a BYLAW that gay ppl here in canada NOT allowed to donate blood?
i just read a email from someone who was being rejected!

In Canada, there is now a very strict regimented protocol for blood screening before and after blood donations are collected to screen out any possible transferable diseases like hepatitis or HIV as examples.
It is true! I read the donor questionnaire over my hubby's shoulder yesterday, I saw this direct question of asking if this male donor have had sex with another male in the past x months (forgot the exact number for months).
I guess the question may be when did they last have unprotected sex?
I don't think it will be... are u gay...
but if Hium saw it.... then it's true and I am surprised.
