what about 品味 at 新城市廣場? i find their food pretty solid...maybe not high end hk-style cafe but definitely upper-middle calibre

Oh yea, I think 品味's food is ok too. Too bad their choices are a bit limited.

you can always see me there during lunch time.
I dunno it's high class or low class or whatever, I just don't want to eat garbage.

Very often we hear people say the service of cha chaan tang sucks (most of the time, involving mid age waitress, ah jie), then some people will say, what do you expect? It's cha chaan tang.

Why?

It is a customer service industry, the service level should be maintained at a certain level regardless of the price of the meal.

The sad fact is this is not the case...

And my personal opinion is that it is a cultural/age thing; the younger western people do a much better job than the mid age chinese ah jie.
