I won't blame the people. The self-checkout systems generally are poorly designed, slow and buggy. I bet they barely went through a lot of testing before the systems were sold.

Having that said, both designer and consumers will take some time to learn. Eventually people will know how to design it properly and know how to use it properly (quickly). Just need to give this a few years to sink in.

I will only use the express self checkout line if there is no lineup and I'm free of time...

i like the self check out at price smart, it's fast. but then always have problem with the bagging area.. *sigh*...

its ok...it will still be faster than regular till at superstore..but yes...the ones at superstore are slow
