Had the public outrage (and in particular, the widespread discontentment among the police force) not been reported in the news media, would this 黃淫龍 have done anything?

I bet he wouldn't law. It's so obvious that the entire system was set to cut this rich girl all the slack they can give, and had people not voiced their disgust and anger, she would have gotten away with her act.

You can continue to insist that there is nothing wrong with HK's police and court systems. Ultimately, you and your children are the ones that have to put up with the crap and pay for it with your lack of freedom.

All I have is an emotional connection to HK. I am not the frog that is getting slow cooked by gradually heated up water.

MJJ, I wasn't 激動 at all when I wrote that reply. As a matter of fact, I was being really serious because none of this has any impact on me.

I can talk all I want, but at the end of the day, it is up to those in HK to take matters into their own hands if they want to have a say about their future.
