巴士上哺乳遭干預 婦向人權處投訴

卑詩省薩尼治（Saanich）一母親在巴士上哺乳，被司機要求遮蓋著，她決定向卑詩人權審裁處作出投訴。
大約3周前女子拉塞爾（Olena Russell）一家在維市中心用膳後搭巴士回家，她在巴士上哺乳，卻遭到卑詩運輸公司（B.C.Transit）司機干預，要求她在哺乳時遮蓋著。卑詩運輸公司表示，他們已發信向拉塞爾道歉，而根據《卑詩人權法》（B.C.Human Rights Code），母親有權在巴士上哺乳。
不過拉塞爾表示，她會向卑詩人權仲裁處討回公道，除非她確知類似事件不再發生。
她說7月14日她和家人在市中心吃過晚飯後乘搭15號巴士回家。她當時替幼女凱拉（Kala）哺乳，她上了巴士後，司機告訴她的丈夫說，她需要加以遮蓋。
司機要求加以遮蓋
在雙方對話中，司機表示他有權決定拉塞爾是否可以在車上哺乳。不過這位全職母親卻不以為然。
已是另一3歲兒子母親的拉塞爾說：「我感到非常驚訝及失望，我有兩個孩子，3年來不曾有人告訴我不能這樣做。」
他們一家下了車，步行數分鐘後改乘另輛巴士，這輛巴士的司機似乎並不介意她哺乳。拉塞爾事後向巴士公司及人權審裁處作出投訴。
巴士公司發言人拉森肯（Joanne Linsangan）表示，他們已去信向拉塞爾道歉，並附送兩張巴士票。她又說已提醒司機遵守《卑詩人權法》條文。根據有關條文，巴士司機不能以性別歧視乘客，包括孕婦及哺乳，婦女是有權在公眾地方哺乳的。

Once I was at a restaurant, a young and hot mother breast feeding her baby without any coverage, her friend's husband kept 啤住佢個奶樽, it's real... I was thinking... no wonder there are so many cheating in this world, no man can resist this temptation

I absolutely love these 人權 stuff... wish the court would soon pass 人權  to let ppl pee on the street (woman esp. haha), even making love in the street, that would be amazing
