The Adams River Salmon Society are pleased to announce the Opening Festival for the Salute to the Sockeye festivities. Included in the line up of events will be Roderick Haig-Browns' grandaughter, First Nations Opening Prayer, Live Prayers and much more.

You haven't seen it before?
The salmons are severely wound hitting the sharp rocks,
escaping from the predators i.e.  eagles, seagulls, crows,
beavers and, ultimately, grizzle bears.

Instead of feeling sad, I simply marvel at this natural wonder and how powerful nature has programmed our instincts to pass on our genes and procreate.
