has anyone been to the comic store on garden city?

I just came back from there and found the pricing quite ok lor
was hanging out there with another frd
ordered 2 drinks, stayed for 3 hours reading comics, browsing internet

I think it was used to be more expensive....
last year when me and my frd went, it was like $30 for the two of us

but now frd told me it's $1/hr ja lor

yeah it's actually so much easier to read when there's an actual book....
loading a page online sometimes is not that fun.....

    Yeah...call me old school...I never like reading news or novel online...
I still buy Chinese newspaper everyday... and also you can't find the novel and 副刊online...

errr........newspaper is ok
cuz usually I only read like 1 or 2 articles

but novel no thanks. I think I will go blind if I read it on my computer screen LOL

    not sure but I used to be there with friends and it always doesn't seem to be expansive wor....or I just never realize at all but at least it's a good place to have comic to read if you don't want to buy because nowadays you can't find such place anymore....just that....how can they survive from such a low rate? ^_^ but of course I do want them to continue ^_^ but just curious

    omg omg omg !! I love 棋魂 ^_^ it's so so so so good!! I bought the whole set plus the specials too after reading it I always wanted to learn how to play it but I'm old and I don't even know if there's a place which would accept me, the oldie, as a new comer...I posted a thread asking where I can learn it and people said 2nd floor in aberdeen might has it but I walked around 3 times there's none also I guess nowadays they'd accept young people instead of oldies like me 棋魂 rocks ^_^ hopefully you agree too fibbi heehe....

also sometimes old school things aren't something bad ^_^ just that maybe some old school things aren't as eh....*sorry can't think of the word darn* old school things aren't as easy as the network things nowadays * can't think of the word still, but I think you know what I meant by easy eh *
