為了增加米粉的韌度，山西省竟然有不肖廠商，在米粉製作過程中添加「工業塑膠」，不但降低成本，還可以讓米粉吃起來更為彈牙。小吃攤米粉老闆說，吃三碗「塑膠米粉」等於直接吞了一個塑膠袋！

冷颼颼的冬天，吃碗米粉湯本來是很幸福的事，大陸各地四處都有賣米粉湯的小吃店，在盛產稻米的南方，米粉品質比較沒有問題，但北方因為運送路途較遠，米粉容易變質，商人都會偷動手腳。如食用明膠就是常見的食品添加物，因為無色無味，消費者不易察覺，還可以省成本，但吃多了也會危害健康。甚至還有更可惡的業者，直接加入工業塑膠混雜。

一般米粉是用紅薯或栗米粉製造，煮熟後的米粉容易糊掉，湯也會呈現米白色；而添加塑膠的米粉，不但怎麼煮都不會爛，煮過後的湯像水一樣清澈，吃起來也格外彈牙。目前太原市質監局仍未對當地米粉進行抽驗，至於是否還有其他非法添加物混雜其中，目前無法確定。

Well I don't think we usually get 米粉 imported from 山西省. So I will watch where 米粉 is made before I buy from now on.
Same as Jenny, I usually order 米粉 when I go out... don't like "hor fun" or instant noodle...

    I usually order noodle when I go out...or "hor fun"....coz I don't cook those at home...
But I do cook "mic fun" at home...
