DF-21 against what?? Against Arleigh Burke class destroyer like the Chung Hoon DDG-93? How many DF-21 are you going to fire at the same time? 1 dozen or 2?

Less than half a dozen I bet you better save some gas for retreat... DF-21 may be a threat to the standalone aircraft carrier, but absolutely not for aegis destroyer/cruiser.

If China can improve the accuracy of DF-21 by at least a magnitude... that could be possible.

By the way, in front of a US naval combat group, China gets no chance to win if it's not entering the 200km shoreline zone based on the China PLA current military arrangement around the coast.

Even without the air cover by the aircraft carrier, DDG's and FFG's have with problems for air defense. Don't you know that? I'm just curious how much you know about aegis and NMD.
