不知道是否離題.上星期睇中文电視新開，有一則軟性新聞ｏ提及日本人路不拾遺和遵守交通手則過馬路的美德.有一個日本人接受訪問時話，這些美德是自幼受家庭教育所培養出來的。
但我有一個日本朋友跟我說,他們路不拾遺是因為他們果信把地上拾到的東西據為已有會帶來really bad luck. 另外如果不跟紅綠燈過馬路會受重罰款.日本人很懂得包裝,令人感到他們成個禮義之邦咁款ｏ
不知這位日本同事所講是否真實.

完全同意，優貭产品加上禮義包装早已令西方社会接受他们是東方的一个較優秀文族，相比中国近年产品出现縂縂恶誉，人民經常在国內/外做出各样失仪行為，早已令人話垢，部份中国人自以為中国已成功成为世界舞台大国之一，像欧美般可以影响世情，但中国人民质素之低往往令西方社会看不起我们中国人，那又怎会把中国看成大国？看如今各地华人对西方传媒对錯誤報导西藏暴乱一事发动的强烈抗议，但西方社会、传媒還是不卖帳已可知中国人在西方眼中有多少地位了！別以为今天一个中国人就可以大大声講说話，你外国人好歹也要聽，那根本是一廂情願，更凸顯了自身的無知、自大及不成熟！中国若不加强国民對品德礼行的教育，恐怕下一代還依然被人睇低！

yes, hk ppl do go back to hk, not because they can't find a job here, but they have a choice to choose where they want to live in.  

too bad that china doesn't allow dual citizenship

He might be rude and loud and still coughing phlegm to the ground, but he is more willing to help and less gossip talking, materialistic, and hypocritic compare to half HK ppl I know.

Are people from East Indian and West Indian the same? Nope. Are people from HK China and Mainland China the same? Nope. Even other people might not able to distinguish, there is difference between them. No matter how hard we try, we are still a tiny group of individuals. If the China government doesn't educate or re-educate its own people, nothing we can do about to improve the global impression of how people look at Mainland China people/Chinese. But even so, it's not going to get changed that easily in the next 10 or 20 years la.

*PS: We're not talking bout "all" Mainland China people are bad, everything has exception geh. But nice Mainland China people are just the very minority of the whole population lor. (note: well educated in terms of academic background doesn't necessary mean they're "nice".)

those ppl in china, especially those "suddently rich" ppl, instead of spending $$$ after LV hand bags, they should learn about the foreign culture and manners from who they bought their hand bags from

Are you sure?
Some 日本人 don't pay tips at all, because they don't need to pay tips in Japan.

Exactly what i think. My bro-in-law thinks that it's wrong to pay tips.
