I usually just buy them from any cheapest supermarket, rinse them in tap water for a short while and then serve them raw, no issues at all (not yet....) :b

go to Steveston Wharf there are boats that sell spot prawns which are frozen at sea. they are blast freeze that are of sashimi quality. About $10 a bag of one lb. Should be heads off. Quite a good deal.
