6 weeks is still fine as the weather is now warmer.   I'll return to work in 2.5 months and it would be great if I could meet with you mommies before I go back to work.

Today I went for a walk with abcvancouver again at Minoru park.  It was certainly a nice walk and our babies enjoyed it too.  If anyone want to walk with us next time let me know.

I am the only mom among my friends, so it would be nice to get to know some moms to share & support.  I also want my baby to mingle with other babies too.

華美子,  我都有興趣 join 你的 play group, 我都係住 Richmond.  但我囝囝現只5個半月大, 可以嗎?  Take care baby not  a easy job,  我囝囝天天愛哭, 耍時抱著睡, 好像塊貼身膏藥咁.  天氣還冷, 平常在家多,很悶 , 只有周末和 husband 行街或買bb 日用品, 真怕bb出外 哭啼啼. 最近bb開始 try rice cereal just 3 至4茶匙,  想請教怎安排bb feeding 時間表,  現時一日食5 餐180ml / 200ml, 如食米糊先, 是否食一個月至try 其他solid food? 米糊之後應試那樣先, 聽別人講carrot 不是首遻,要等8個月後, 對嗎? thank you for your help!
I'll also return to work after 5 months, so fast, 還煩到時bb唔知誰take care?pre-school 是否耍一早apply, 又那一間好?

五個半月當然可以了。我的BB也是很纏身，因此我差不多日日都帶她出外見下世面。多出外人也開心點，成日屈係屋企又要湊ＢＢ真係人都 down Ｄ。

每個ＢＢ食 solid 既時間表不同，我個Ｂ一日食四餐奶，每餐份量都係 180ml 左右，我通常第二餐（中午一點）會先餵佢食糊然後再餵奶，因為我個Ｂ唔可以每兩個鐘食野。每次 introduce 一樣新食物比ＢＢ，試三日就可以 introduce 另一樣野，唔洗一個月，不過五殼類一定要先試，因為ＢＢ需要 iron。阿 Pat 教試完五殼之後就試蔬菜，然後生果，最後先係肉類。不過 What to expect the first year 這本書就咁教：
4 to 6 months:  rice cereal
6 months:  barley cereal, oat cereal, apple sauce, bananas, pears, peaches, peas, carrots, green beans, sweet potato, squash
7 to 8 months:  chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, avocado, egg yolk
9 months:  yogurt (whole milk), cheese (such as swiss, cheddar), pasta, beans, tofu

daycare 要早Ｄ搵，依家waiting list 好多都要一年，你好快Ｄ搵定啦。

華美子 : actually for yogurt, it is now suggested to start at one years old instead because the body doesn't digest milk that easily before one years..also because whole milk and cheese might bring on allergies before one years old. I've asked a couple of doctors and they all say it's safer to start at 1 years old...because before 1 years old, the baby is still taking a calcium and iron fortified cereal/formula..they won't need the added calcium from milk yet. Once baby is one years old, they can try milk, cheese and yogurt

p.s. : Caucasian doctor told me I could start yogurt at 1 years old, and chinese doctor was appalled when I told her I started my son on yogurt at 1 years old..she said I should wait until later. anyways my son eats one package (2 oz) of yogurt each day and also lots of cheese.
