So what is the real reason for buying a high powered AWD when u dont go off road, 12 miles per gallon? U have to tell people that u're a member of Nouveau riche. And tell me it corners better than a MR2.

I rather spend da money on a real sports car that can go fast around the corner.
Not here to criticise the haves' way of spending money, if we keep piddle the gas away like no tomollo, we'll see 3 bucks a litre real soon. Unless u're related to Sultan of Brunei then the higher the barrel the merrier.

Hate to say it , I would admire someone who buys somethng with their own hard earned money regardless a 20 yrs old GM Luxo barge or a brand new Bugatti.

At least a C63 or M5 is designed to go fast and do it properly, a powerful is like wearing a Tuxedo to a Tennis game.

They all use too much gas, Is human nature, when we come nto new found wealth we need to let the world know.  The more we can afford to waste the better we're.

U folks can afford it now mind as well enjoy it, when gas hit $3.00/ litre dont think u even want to start your car up.  If it hts 3/ltre u can bet economy is not going to be all that rosy again.  
Is already talking about costs for shipping  container from Japan to Van was 1000, It could go up to 4000. So u can see goods going to Wal mart s not going to be all that smooth.  Some say China's economy could be independent from US, World eco. that means even when US went t*ts up China will still be humming along, we all wish that will be the case.
