bus and skytrain to work today. not much problem except both bus and skytrain were a little slower than usual. still got to work b4 deadline. my company's snow policy is, if there is public transit and the condition is safe, you should still go to work, eventhough you'll arrive 3 hours late.
btw, went to fill up gas tonight. the gas station was out of regular fuel and offer supreme plus with regular price. i guess the gas refill trucks are not able to fill gas at the stations so they are out of regular gas. filled supreme plus (94 octane) with 77.9 only. hehe.
rear wheel drive cars handle better in snow then FWD.
but with the snow this deep, only proper 4WD w/ low range SUV with proper tires can make it through. a lot of side street are over a foot deep. most small SUV do not have the clearance. i wish i can play with my cayenne or Q7 in these kind of snow... raise up the air suspension and set the AWD for off road LOL.
took a day off today. Impossible to drive out of the house. Took 3 hours to just clear the snow at the back lane.
But tomorrow can definitely go. I'm just worried about Wednesday...
