Any good place to go, to eat?

I had this meal in my trip back in 2006 - Pasta with REAL crab meat + bread & butter + J2O. Very tasty food for 8 pounds only, good deal!!

London literally has tons of places to go and visit for sight seeing purposes. You can be there for months and still wouldn't run out of places to visit. A few quick Google searches will give you endless lists of places to go.

Of all the places you see, be sure to check out the British (Royal Pirates) Museum though. Admission is free, and you get to see all the loot that the Royal British Pirates has stolen from all over the world.

As to eating, Britain is not particularly well known for its food. Scotland has a few interesting traditional dishes, but regardless of where you are, food is gonna be super expensive. I wouldn't go to London for eating trips.

Exactly, that's why for me London part of the trip isn't for food. France part is.

if you'll be there on a weekend, Notting Hill and Portabello market is good place for strolling. Many interesting stores. And if you like coffee & tea, looking for the "Coffee Plant", they have very nice organic coffee and special teas.

Most the places are good .. and surprise .  Food isn't that bad nor expensive .. compare to Canada ..   lol
