【明報專訊】溫市警方公布兩年一次的民意調查報告，顯示住戶及商戶皆對警方有高達8成的滿意度，不過犯罪率高的地區滿意度較低。市民普遍關注毒品及黑幫問題，但其實社區所面對的罪案，則是以爆竊、毒品、偷竊為主。

調查報告中顯示，78%溫市居民對警方的表現感到滿意，16%感到不滿意。其中位於東南區的第3警區的滿意度最低，僅有69%。溫市西區第4警區的滿意度則最高，高達85%。

在商戶方面，平均滿意度為82%，表示不滿意的則有12%，同樣是第3警區的滿意度最低，為77%。滿意度最高的也一樣是第4警區，高達89%。

警方認為在犯罪率較高的地區，市民對警方的滿意度普遍較低，並且較多人抱怨難以與警方聯繫，或是警方抵達案件現場的時間不夠快。

在溫市的罪案問題中，高達40%居民關注毒品問題，其次是黑幫問題佔25%。不過在受訪市民居住地區所發生的罪案中，22%市民認為爆竊案最嚴重，其次為毒品及偷竊，分別佔14%及10%。

溫市商戶方面，有44%的商戶認為市內毒品問題氾濫，其次為黑幫問題，佔21%。而實際上商戶之間所發生的罪案中，前三位分別為偷竊、毒品、及爆竊，分別佔16%、16%、及13%。

對於警方的建議，住戶及商戶皆認為警方需要增加服務，特別希望能在社區內增加更多巡邏警力。

這份調查報告是由溫哥華警方委託NRG調查公司所做，花費約2.7萬元。該公司是在去年11月17日至12月12日間，隨機抽樣820人，每個警區至少200人，以電話形式詢問45條問題。該統計資料的誤差率為正負3.2%。

I doubt he reads and understands whatever he posts...

He just reads the titles and thinks it is about how bad Vancouver is and let's post it to show those loyaukee people how bad Vancouver is.  

Really, what's the point of this post?  Even in a low crime rate place, crime does happen and if I happen to be unlucky one, no matter low or high crime, it will happen to me.

and that's why I do not care to read (I just read the title and I gave up).  

He is just like a spoiled and arrogant kid who thinks he is always right and just like yellow frog living in a well with full of other white frogs.  What's his argument next?  Tell me to go home?  Sigh...

Unless we are going to give them more TIM HOTRON stuffs .. other wise ..  破案率 will be ZERO ...   few of my friends wanna be RCMP too .. since they want to get a super relax job with good pay !!
