well...
i would say 70% of our company is always late.
however, my boss is picky about our team being on time....BUT she is late herself.

funny thing is...
she pulled my work buddy into a meeting because she claims that my friend was "late & leaving earlier", giving my friend a "verbal warning".  my friend very very max late 5 mins... but NEVER leaves early (verified by at least 6+ people).
& ironically, we all know that my boss always arrives 20mins - 90 mins late HERSELF! we start at 8am... and my boss 3/5 days arrives after 8:30. & some cases, she arrives 9:30am. not only our team knows, but other coworkers who goes for a smoke at 9ish will see my boss running down the street heading to our lobby front door.

to be honest, she is my boss but not really my boss...她卦名係Admin亞頭, but every last thursday of the month (ex: this coming thurs.), she sets up this lame-o meeting with us Admin team to let US have the chance to tell HER what we have been doing! 某程度上, she doesn't give us any work, & the stuff we do we don't even work for her.

however, her proper title is HR Manager wor! so i guess this is why most of the company is late lor.... learn from HR mah~ so, my company (good boss) hires alot of "good employees". people like me is "bad" because we gotta learn from & be deciplined by my "good boss"

You know what twin, you should really understand what a manager title means..

Read it in Chinese loud, then you will get it.

Manager (in chinese) = pass by and ignore the job

Not only your HR manager la, our CFO is like that too.
The whole company know that he knows nothing about the operation or anything in different department and he get paid for $100,000 annually just to "sign cheques" and present himself in front of client or AGM or Audit.

Oh, and he is always the first one who "E-mail" me to rush through his expense claim and send me "kind reminder" that he would like his pay cheque .....

i totally understand Twin~
she just did that today. she was supposed to prepare gift packages for our engineer to take to Manila... she walk by, see me at my desk, & dumps it to me to do

I can feel your pain, Twin. And she is obviously a very suitable "manager" as from definition.

it's sucks. i end up did go to agency... but i think like all agencies, they just wanna collect resumes for commission lah. im look...but i'm very sick tonight ar... see our own thread....aiiii
