yes, this is a local law in au. but if there is a law in au, there should be a similar law in other countries, globalize ma.
just do a quick search on google, easily found there are quotas in au & usa. asian like shark fin, but there are mostly caught in au & usa.
endangered species, 野生花寄參 is an endangered species. Canada does not allow export 野生花寄參. i believe if the shark population is reduced to a point, the governments will ban the trading to protect them, just like what they did for 象牙.
watched planet earth a while back, it mentioned even the scientists don't know where the sharks hide, the living cycle & how many are they left. they mention shark's population is reducing but are they an endangered species is still a mystery. another report came out not long ago, which mentioned there will be no more fishes in 2020, will you stop eating fish today.
i don't like to suffer in pain, so i won't eat things that were 唔人道殺害. but this is my personal choice. i don't think those one who like to eat it is an evil. I believe regulation and moderation are more important & efficient. 勸佘別人保護鯊魚 or protect the earth is much better than force them to do it. just like eating cat & dog, there is laws in asian, but people still doing it. |
