Will i get swine flu from her?

Cuz I just find out my co worker got swine flu. I heard one of my co worker said that, the manger knew about it last week and the manager never put memo to let us know about it. The lady who got swine flu came back to work yesterday. She looks normal to me, and she never mention about it. she just told me that she was really sick past few weeks. She always like to chat with me at work. So I had seem and talked with her at least 5 times and we stand pretty close.
My bf told me that it's pretty dangerous. So I need to see doctor tomorrow, 'cuz of that lady feel really sick again and call in sick this morning. My bf said that she should get a letter from doctor to prove she's alright before she come back to work. But she feel sick again, that's mean... How selfish she is?? She wantS to spread all the gems in our company.

Will we get h1n1 from her??

dont worry ..  only 10-20% people with swine is reported ....  

It is just another flu... most people even recovered before they know they had swine flu!

Not much ppl report doesn't mean no people die.

The news says that b.c. Got a lot of people got swine flu than another places in Canada.
But I didn't see any people wear mask in public transit.

Do not worry about it for now if you don't feel any signs or symptoms of flu like aching, fever, coughing etc., as nothing doctor can do at this point. However, do watch for personal hygene like wash your hands often, minimize/avoid touching public use stuff, cover your mouth when coughing/ sneezing. One thing very important is to keep healthy lifestyle. eg., enough sleep, regular exercise, keep hydrated.

how can I avoid touching public things when I take bus and skystrain to work? Wear gloves?

just don't touch ur eyes/nose/genitals after u touch those public things n wash ur hands after taking public transit to get the germs off. if u did actually have the swine flu, i'm sure u'd be feeling the effects of it by now. besides, it's too late for you to do anything NOW don't u think? ur doctor's not gonna diagnose u with the swine flu if u don't even have a fever/cough/nausea.

as catpiano said, it's just another flu!! CALM DOWN!!

it will be too common to a point that most doctors won't bother to test it for you unless you are in serious condition.

i always use wet tissue to clean my hand after touch those things.. or wear gloves..

huh.. why alot of flu, earthquake, storm.. etc.. in this year..
