I am curious to see how much taxes these post-80s have paid.
Looking at the police force that has been deployed to deal with these protestors, it's a nice use of taxpayers' money.

On one hand these post-80s complain about all the mistreatments they have got.

On the other hand they are the group of people who have the lowest economic contribution to the society.

I don't know why they even complain about the $65 billion the highspeed train costs, since many of them don't need to pay anything.

according to ur logic:
paid tax--> have say, opinion is valid
no paid tax--> have no say, opinion can be ignored

no wonder why the GINI index is so high in hk. coz those ppl with low socioeconomic status will never been able to voice their opinion. nobody (at least the gov) will never concern about them.  You may as well let Lee ka shing make all the decisions. no need to go to legislative assembly then.

Being a government is not about serving the riches, it's about serving all citizens. An important point of the post-80's protest is that government needs to pay attention to ppl with lower socioeconomic status, not just the rich businessmen.

我都話明係上車前檢唔係落車檢。所以let's suppose你上車時個車票係去香港﹐你咪要上車前做晒過境手續囉。你落車時可以唔洗在經人手﹐有車票就落到車出到閘。

其實由香港出發的話﹐可以有"特別人員"以港人身份做回鄉檢查。我知有基本法﹐但係法律係死﹐人係生﹐唔可以因為"唔知點樣做檢查"就阻礙交通。
