Recently, I find that "Kingspark" is okay (not high class though), just decent food at the price.
Boston:  Yes, my dad had a steak and it wasn't good (few months ago)
Queens:  I'll try in a few weeks   We'll see

Oh, there's one that's kind of semi- cha chan tang, and the food was quite good the few times I've tried it.  I forgot the name, but it's on the 2nd floor in the same plaza as "Mud G Gun", the one on the next to (right side) of the dessert place.  

I liked the food there before, may be you can give that place a try

茶餐廳 has (or had) high-end, mid-end, and low end.

In Vancouver, the high-end are all dead, mid-end charges high-end prices, low-end continues to be low end.

Most ppl associate 茶餐廳 as low end, but there were (and are, just at somewhere else) HK-style steakhouse/western restaurant that are high end with good quality.

There is no high-end 茶餐廳 in my dictionary. I'll called them 港式西餐廳. lol

Variety of selections of both Chinese, South East Asian and Western food is one of the attractiveness of a hk-style cafe.  Everyone can enjoy what they want.

Escargot was good, the owner used to be 5 Star Hotel chef in TW,
so it cannot be classified as Cha Chan Tang
