well according to the campaign, ppl can include receipts of donation to charity that protects sharks in the 人情. So that they won't be saving the 30% (not being cheap) but just making that as a statement against serving shark fin soup at wedding banquets.

probably those people think shark are much more cute than goose or they think goose liver are much high class in western world so it doesnt matter (not like sharkfin, brutal bad chinese cultrue)

You must be kidding la, I would be very happy to see if chinese people don't think shark fin is a high class dish for wedding banquet bor, then they'll take it off from the menu and put something more high class in lor. Good ah! But on the other hand, I never have goose liver in many western weddings lor. You might think western people are too cheap to provide that? Kakaka...........

可能 gum岩呢排有好多有關stop shark fin的題材所以多左人迴響囉，同埋shark fin 響wedding consume得好多同埋中國人係食得最多翅，所以有多Ｄ人aware唔出奇。

其實我知道你明白我地既想法，係不平點解世界有好多野夠慘我地都唔理？一個人一雙手可以做幾多野呢？好似如果有人要你買旗，你都冇話可以個個妹妹仔都買曬；世界有好多孤兒，就算你愛心氾濫都領養唔曬；海地有好多災民，就算你有幾多米糧都唔夠派。我唔能夠偉大都咩都愛護咩都話保育，好簡單，因為我係正常人一個唔係神仙，一雙手多多做唔曬。但係比我知道有Ｄ野我只係唔做／唔食就會有幫助，點解少少都唔做呢？

一個人食一碗翅只係好少，但係個個中國人都食就好多；in the other words，一個人唔食一碗翅係幫得好少，但係越來越多人唔食就會係好多。

The fact is, shark fin is a very common dish in chinese community, not only in weddings but in dim sum dumpling too. Compare to goose liver, I don't see it's on western menu commonly, even in many 5 stars hotels and high end restaurants bor. Even you want to eat, it's not easy to find la!

Actually we're not comparing shark fin and goose liver here. We just want to let people know about this shark fin campaign, not to challenge people who still eat shark fin.  People can feel free to join and support, it's not a debate lor.

No offence, but 調節 into what? a world without sharks?

I simply don't like to see:

a) a species going extinct when we can choose to avoid.
b) Chinese will be blamed for the extinction of sharks.
c) the next generation of human won't be able to see any live shark stock just because this generation choose not to give them a chance.

p.s.  - cruelty is never my argument.

u can dislike to see anything but those things are still going to happen. Maybe you can save the sharks, but that doesn't mean the earth can last longer. Simple example, if oil is the blood of the earth, we are the blood suckers who keep sucking the blood from the earth everyday, every hours...every seconds. 呀環保人士, 甘你係咪由呢一刻開始放棄所有交通工具except行路/單車?

without the sharks (or any kind of animals), there will be hazardous effect on the earth and many of us will die, but it take times for us to feel the effect, starting from the second the earth run out of oil, 你可以做既﹐ 除o左祈求死o既時候唔好o甘痛苦之外﹐ 就係幻想自己識得北斗神拳.........
