I think yayaya pointed out something so true among immigrants like us. They know that it's hard to find decent job in Vancouver, but they refused to go to other cities to work. E.g. Alberta province, Toronto, even Ottawa if you are lucky to get into gov't work...
One shouldn't stay at home living with your parents forever. Although my parents wanted me to stay, I didn't see a future here so I moved to Toronto. Now I have a job I like and see my own future much clearer.
Don't limit yourself to just Vancouver, I know some people end up working in Saskatchewan and earning big money just because they don't mind living in a different city. Sometimes I wonder if those ppl are really afraid of change or they know they don't have the ability to adapt a new environment. |
