I think this guy believes he can still fool people when we can all expect and predict what he would have to day even before he actually said it.
There should not be any question that Hong Kong people want to have democracy. However, the most clear and powerful message they sent out is that they do not agree with and support this kind of extreme action.
He can inflate the number of supporters in any way he wants. Should we deduct some people from the 590 thousands votes who voted but actually do not support this action because:
1) they just want to fulfill their duty as a citizen?
2) there is no other better alternative candidate for them to vote?
3) they can not case “NO” vote against this action?
I would suggest 公民兩黨 to spend their time and effort to 反思 the message Hong Kong people sent to them instead of trying to deny their devastating lost and look for success under the failure. How would people be able to trust and rely on a party which does not have 反思能力, won’t listen to the voice of people, and won’t represent the will of people. |
