I am trying to change bank from "S" Bank to HSBC as they are closer to me, but I just experienced the worst customer service.
I went into the bank (No 3 Road and Saba HSBC), talk to this guy name Derek, he's pretty nice, answer questions, etc. So I tried to call him last week to see what I told him to do is done as I see it's not moved yet, can't find his business card, so I call the branch and the following happen
1) Guy 1 said oh sure, I will tranfer you, then transfer me to telephone banking automated service..
2) Girl 2 said oh there is no Derek at that branch, I said oh, I think it was Derek, transfer me, then she transfer me to this Pizza place in Burnaby. WT?
3) Guy 3 said Oh soooo sorry, let me find you someone, then hung up one me.
By this time I am getting mad, so I select Cantonese, this girl answer, I gave her all my personal account info, and she said I never talk to anyone name Derek, I said I am almost 99% sure it's Derek, and she said "小姐, D-A-V-I-D 係讀David ah!". I was sooo pissed, I go "I know, but I am looking for DEREK!", she said we don't have any Derek's", I said "whole HSBC, not a SINGLE Derek, you 100% sure!" Then she said what you want me to help you" , I said "oh just get ANY FA to call me"
That was last week!! I called again this week and still the same thing, one guy transfer me to this bakery, this lady said " you looking for a bank, yeah, they always tranfser people here".
How UN-professional ARE they? I finally dug through EVERYTHING and found that business card, and his name IS Derek!
I have $XXX,000 money coming in, and I am starting to NOT want to give them my business anymore, anyone have any banking suggestions? |
