It is not something uncommon in Chinese couture to give red pocket especially for the older generation. My grandma does that all the time to waiter, hair dresser, banker (financial planners). She often gave red pocket to restaurant captain as well when we haｄ banquet. It is just her way to show appreciation and you can consider it as “tip” if you want.

I do not deny the possibility that Brenda may accept red pockets and my grandma will give one to her for sure if she wants to put up an adv on radio. However, the whole purpose is to show her appreciation instead of trying to 賄賂.

It is totally unnecessary to 賄賂 at all. It is just an adv and you can provide your own scripts. They will air it anyways since you paid them to do so.

I do not see the possibility Brenda is making $1000 per adv.

Being kicked out of the programs is not the end of the world.

I criticize both  radio stations for
their news casting, it is nothing new.
For entertainment program, they can be silly.
but for news, it is serious commitment,
they have to make effort to deliver the accurate message as possible.
Since we have so many LYK in media sector, they can verify as well.
Why keep doing personal attack and spam the forum all the time?

I challenge Cheung Mo Ke  in person many time since he is the senior
instructor there and he criticizes the HK radio reporters often on similar cases , but he just shrugs off
