But for Vancouver Island, especially for Victoria, that's obvious a concern. The fault line is just right outside the 無敵大海景...
If tusnami like the one happened months ago, after the quake you have about 10 minutes time to evacuate to the high ground...

North Vancouver and West Vancouver are good, with very nice views.

Highrise is good to avoid spiders vs. ground level.
Having water view is nice but could risk for tsunami.
Single house is good only if you have time to manage everything yourself.
Surrey is a little far away to central vancouver but it's a lot cheaper.
Houses around metrotown is more expensive cuz it's very convenient to almost everything.

There is no paradise on earth. People have to set their priority and get the most things they want but to sacrifice something. ;b

If looking out at night, no ship, no moonlight.
A huge black back drop.

Now you know why some highrise in DT is even more expensive than a house! LOL

when I went to visit my friend in 紅山半島 back when I was in HK.
That night, the sea was dark. I told myself, I don't like that.
Sea view, must have some lights, bridges, ships etc. If not, boring.
