Very ma fan ga .. when you want to do some construction in HK ( or even here ) suppose need to send many application, then wait for approval, and once it is done, they need to check again ...  


Well, 僭建 is very common in HK ..  here too ...  not too sure about HK, but here, most people do that because of tax ...  

(dumb me, reported everything we have done in our basement ..  since then, our p. tax has rised so much!!)

very common  doesnt' mean it is good nor legal.  If the law says so, then people have to follow, especially officer.

BTW, 以前香港層樓都有僭建, 有路台有花籠, 仲有條空中走廊通去我外婆個單位, 天板仲起左間屋仔。
上年返去乜都拆晒﹐真係唔見幾百尺地方。
