如果一定要係 futureshop 買hdmi cable, 可否推薦幾個model?
Thanks

For hdmi cable, rocket fish sells cheap stuff at HIGH price and their cable is not durable. We got one broken at home =__=  Monster will be a better choice, but they are over priced. You can wait till it is on sale sin buy.. usually amazon.com or the states sell it much cheaper.

Dollarama d 平cable 同 幾十蚊條有咩分別?

If the cable is short and you don't plug-unplug every day, there are no functional differences.  HDMI is like Ethernet LAN cable, it carries digit signal.  You either get it or you don't.  Expensive one may have less error, if the length is very long, 50+ ft.

I would skip Toshiba as we have nothing but trouble with it. They are priced cheap and people who buy them don't care about quality.

I have been using Belkin and RCA brand HDMI and component cables, so far they are great, thick and durable. Some cheap, MIC ones that I buy from Monoprice and DX, they started to corrode a bit only in about 3 years. So.. I would not buy $5 cables and that's what you get.

As I always say.. if you drive a sport car, you don't cheap on the gas and car wash. Similarly, if you are buying a Sony HX or XBR, don't go cheap on the cable and power bar. My "cheap" is cheap/poor quality, not cheap price. If you know where to look, you can find some nice quality made stuff as cheap price.

Been using a "cheap" cable from monoprice and never had any issues that you described. HDMI cable is very different from speaker cables.  Spending on an expensive one is a huge waste of money imo.

ha ha... It is like when buying a fast Core i7 PC insist on pairing with a $100 monster LAN cable. Yes, it look pretty, but works just the same.

I did not say you have to buy Monster cable, but generally good quality cable would do. Mine are corroded because I think they are near heat source and is covered with dusts and stuff... so I am not surprised.

Then I bought my 2x 6ft Belkin cable for $10 when on sale, I am not complaining at all.
