organized religions that create artificial boundaries between people?

The origin of the religions might not have necessarily 'taught' or 'preached' extremism. Unfortunately people are like that. When a group deeply believes in something, and another group strongly believes otherwise, conflicts occurs.
It hard to deny that most wars in history were because of religion. The intent of the religions might not be bad, but the resulting wars throughout thousands of years are also undeniable. It's hard to say whether religions in general have a net-postiive or net-negative impact throughout human history. But for surely, a lot of people have been killed in the name of various religions. Hypothetically, some of these wars might not have occurred if religions isn't there for foolish humans to use as that extra excuse to drive each other to the ground... |
