The pursue of beauty is basically the pursue of better genes. It's inherent to sexual selection. Pursue of a rich husband allows the highest safety-net and chance for success for the offsprings. Again sexual selection. It's all normal. Using the shame game against people who strive for beauty and successful partner is also a tactic to put others at a disadvantage in this game.
It's all just a game based on human evolutionary instincts....
But may true love prevail.... at least between handsome boys and pretty girls.~ |
