I guess my response was kind of ambiguous. I meant it's an individual case, can't say it's indicative of the entire generation.
I personally am more concerned that I won't be able to keep up once the next wave of social change hits and no longer can stay on top of the game. Even some of these web 2.0 monetization concepts sometimes already escapes me. Not as concerned that the next generation won't be able to handle themselves. In every generation there are ones who excel and ones who perish, I suppose the coming up generations will be the same. Holding the laggers from the next generation criticize it might make the prior generations looks smarter, but in reality, it's just a self comforting exercise.
That said, I do hope that our future generations will be better than ours and the past ones. In modern history, rarely does that fail tho. |
