    I happened to have this super good milk tea in HK, and they used the black and white milk.
I guess it's similar to 三花? The tea leaf is the key.

   I've been using 50ml of milk but used 70ml of milk today, the texture was good. 70ml looked like a lot and sounds fattening!

That's good! With 8 spoons of milk, it looks like 30% of my 250ml cup. So I guess I'm putting in 70-80ml.

8 Tablespoonful = 1/2  cup  =  125  ml
sounds too much for a cup of milk tea.


Most tea barista  for Cha Chan Tang  use 1 tin of Carnation milk for 5-6 cups of tea
that is 60-80 ml per cup

Blend of fine Rickshaw and  coarse lipton yellow brand,
fine ground for colour  and coarse ground for flavor.

It is personal preference, I usually do 3 parts coarse ground to 1 part of fine ground.
Then I add some toasted coconut  for a mysterious touch, and some egg shells for richness.
Yes the tea leaves can be found locally.
