I found out the real "40 days" dry aged steaks are not for everyone.
The fat has these strong "aged cheese" flavours which explode 3 seconds after they melt in your mouth, it's like condensed beef flavour . I love it, but not for everyone, it can be quite overwhelming.
Thanks for letting me know. I've been looking around to buy aged steak in Vancouver. As to the strong flavour, it may have to do with portion size. I bought $40 for 4 people to share, the steak is very greasy.
Thanks. It was the best steak I've ever had. (The meal is very cheap when comparing to restaurant prices. Plus, almost no cooking skills require to cook this baby nicely.)
