I think it's the arrangement... The melody is 80s but it's not so bad. A better arrangement can totally refresh it.

maybe the overall quality of HK singers have gone down so much that we are now not used to his very 好氣 voice.......

To me,  there is nothing wrong with this song AT ALL.    或者對於一些90 後耒說，一首唱功咁有性格, 又有氣勢 , 兼且歌詞又有意義 的歌，實在聽唔慣。事關這些quality 都不會發生在他們喜愛的歌手身上！

this song is not that bad, but Eason's 歲月如歌 is way too outstanding and people want Eason to sing 衝上雲霄II 主题曲 or TVB to reuse 歲月如歌 again. all about memory.

I think this song resembles an older song of his but with poorer melody (can't recall the name, used to be an English song). But still, can't imagine people "complain" about this...ppl should have complain about lots of "new singers" song before this one...
