Registered vehicle owners do not receive driver penalty points for red light camera offences.

If a driver is nominated and convicted of the offence, he or she will receive two driver penalty points.

as my understanding, if you admitted it in the court, it doesn't count at the driver nomination.  
i remember the judge said he has no control of the points, so even though you are guilty, he won't give you the points.

I know a guy who was driving South bound on Oak bridge try to stop at 70 St on a snowy night. The front wheels cross the line and the camera flash, he then back up and the camera flash again. You know what happened afterwards.
