It depends on where you go la.  U know, I have been shooting as many as 20+ weddings a year ma.., so I have seen it all...! =D

I have been to outdoor wedding ceremony starting at 2, or starting at 4pm...in both cases sun is still very strong. There may be cover for the bridal party.. (say gazebo)...but not for guests la...

fibbi, which golf couse have you booked for your ceremony?

I want to have my ceremony at the outdoor, but it's seem hard to find a nice one that is affordable.  Most of them are over $1500 with designated caterers.
I think that's the average rate, but I still think it's expensive.
Anyone knows a good outdoor ceremony site that's not too expensive?

you may try Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club. Outdoor ceremony fee is $900 but you'll have to have dinner banquet there as well because if it ends up raining that day, your ceremony will be held indoor which is the banquet room that you'll book.

do you want food to be served or caterers?
If not, you can try London Heritage Farm if you are confident on the weather. (e.g. summer wedding would be fine but not in Oct - May)
It's pretty reasonable. You can rent chairs and tents from them.

I had mine in UBC Golf Course

I have thought about London Heritage Farm too, but I have never been there, so I have to check out the place first.  The rental rates look good to me.

My wedding is in Sept, and I'm going to have it in the Golf Course.  I think its very pretty to have it outdoor (if its not raining), because vancouver has such beautiful outdoor scenery, so any outdoor places would be nice.  You can also think about QE Park, Botanical Garden, Whistler etc etc.  It really depends how much is your budget.
