Does CFL light produce UV and radio frequency?

Does CFL light produce UV and radio frequency? If so, it might be safer to just use LED light.

Yes, all gas discharged types of flourscent lighting uses UV to "excite" the phosphor coating inside the tube to produce visible light, and it's known to leak some of this UV rays outside as invisible light (usually very small amount).

It produces radio noise due to the fact that it requires switchers to make it happen (electronic circuits). A properly designed/implemented compact CFL should already came with a EMI/RFI suppression circuitry within to suppress any line-borne radio noise emissions.

I wouldn't use LED for the rather outrageous initial purchase cost right now.
