Just wondering if anyone knows where in town have a better rate to exchange CAD to Yen? I am going to Japan soon, or it's better to exchange $ when I get there? Thanks

On my trip last month, I checked 2 places: Crystal mall and Metrotown.  The Metrotown one was giving me a better rate.  It is located at the ground floor under the food court and there is an exchange money counter inside a coin store.

For the actual rate (depending on how much and when), you can call them on the day and find out.

KingMark is the one I refer to which located at Crystal Mall.  Friends said they gave good rate, but still a little bit higher than the other one at Metrotown mall.

Yen is so voliatile, if you think the rate is right, act quickly and don't wait for your trip.

if there is good news in the market, yen comes down, otherwise, it shoots up.
