琉球主權... Forget it, it's impractical...
According to the old experience on "colonies", if the natives have been ruled for 3 generations (ie. +/- 60-75 years), most people would rather stay the way it is.
You can tell by HK before 97 and Taiwan nowadays...
1st gen - they fight
2nd gen - they have been treated unfairly, but still better than their fathers
3rd gen - they get educated and some other benefits, and the 1st gen dead...

It's lucky the Japs only ruled Taiwan for 50 years, otherwise you will see a 大東亞共榮圈...

    Agree! The old kingdom was friend of China for many many centuries. We should seek out their decendents and help them to rebuild their country, without Jap/US influence.

Great then, after they get succeed, then Tibet, then Xinjiang... All become independence state...

Actually, 琉球群島 was a tributary state of the Ming or Ching dynasty, so 琉球群島 should be reunited with China. Some even say Okinawa and 琉球群島 are the same type of people and culture. Both places were invaded by Japan. It is possible that both will reunite with China some day.

It would, but it won't happen in a forseeable future until the States become too weak...
