I am in Seattle now... stayed at http://www.marriott.com/hotels/t ... tle-north-mukilteo/ for the first night. Went to Alderwood Mall.

Today we went to Pike place, University Village and walked around in Willingford. I am staying at CrownePlaza for two nights.

Both hotels are bid through Priceline, and $45 at Towneplace and $80 at Crowne plaza.

Tried Ding Tai Fung over the Christmas holiday.  They are okay, but there are many SLB places in Vancouver better than them.  I think that's why they open in Seattle and not in Vancouver.

Pike Place Market is a must. You can also try Joule Restaurant (http://www.joulerestaurant.com/). I will recommend Duck breast adobo and Warm chocolate cake for dessert. The Pink Dook (http://www.thepinkdoor.net/) is another great restaurant. La Bagna Cauda is delicious and I also love the Paglia E fieno.
