VW was a copy from prof hans Ledwinka of Tatra too, at that time Dr Porsche had mentioned to Fuhrer aka Chancellor Adolf Hitler. Fuhrer told him I will take care of it later on. Shortly after Fuhrer invaded Czech so no more issues. But after the War, VW had to pay a certain amount to Ledwinka for the patent.
