I am temped but I haven't. been using curry powder (with nothing but just mix of spices) from HK and curry paste from Thailand. I also use Japanese curry blocks too.
I did something similar with the Vji's lamb popsicle but my kitchen smell insane after... (needed to fry the spice a bit)
Do you know how to make Hon Kong style curry?

Not really... I have some HK style curry powder but I hate coconut milk/oil. So I don't know how to make HK style curry that I like.
However, I can make Thai curry with Thai curry paste + kaffir lime leaves + coconut milk and had no problem with it...
I don't understand why...
