1 Comment(s)  18 Recommendation(s) RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - Two bodies have been found inside a Richmond hotel room, and police are not providing many more details about what happened.

A man and a woman, both in their fifties, were found dead around 6 o'clock last night when hotel staff asked police to check on the well being of two of their guests who didn't check out of their rooms as scheduled.

Cpl. Sherrdean Turley with Richmond RCMP says it was apparent that both suffered trauma. "At this time, no one else is believed to be involved in this incident."

Both victims are from Richmond. The names of the victims have not been released. Police are not naming the hotel or say if any weapon was found.

Richmond Serious Crime Unit is investigating.
