a mini blender/food processor that works well is the one from zellers...there are no speeds or anything but it's blade is quite sharp and its small enough just great for baby food. i think it was only $10!

if you are not going to make A lot of baby food, just get something simple and cheap..and quite portable too

btw, this one is quite easy to clean compared to the vertical blenders..the blade can be removed from the container to be rinsed

wanna ask...should i start giving solid food to my son in every meal or just one meal at a day? He has started to have solid food for a week already

since your baby is only 6 months old, I would say 1 meal at a day is enough
