LA BELLE AUBERGE COOKING CLASS

I signed up for their cooking class. It was totally worth it! The instructors were very friendly and professional. Each student were given an apron with their names embroidered on, a chef's knife and a cookbook. They kept serving us wine and food (roasted lamb, ahi tuna, chocolate truffles, etc). Enjoying the wonderful food that we cooked with our guests was the best part!
Cost: $160 (I think. Don't remember). Your guest is $65/person.

Each class has a different menu. My class in particular:

  • seared scallops with beurre blanc
  • Pan seared foie gras (I requested this item as extra)
  • braised short rib with potato foam
  • roasted duck breast with leg meat croquette
  • chocolate souffle

I guess this class assumes a basic level of culinary competence before going?

wonderful dishes. interesting place also (only been there once). beautiful creations also!

Very nice, if I have a significant other and have time, I would definitely go for a class.

Looks like fun.
LA BELLE AUBERGE is on my wish list (had the duck breast + duck confit croquette sample and sample and loved it)
But $160 + $65 for 2 is a bit too much $$ for me now...

Their cooking menus are different all the time. You can contact them to request for things that you are interested in. The chef is so nice. He may make some adjustments or create a new menu for you. I had sooooo much fun! Let us know how it went!
