By looking at the destroyed houses, it is clear that those tofu houses were not built to withstand hurricanes. But the Americans knew all along that hurricanes are common in those states. Clearly, they were using shoddy building materials and government regulation is also inadequate.

The trails of the hurricane may be widespread, but mostly over sparsely populated areas. Destruction to buildings is much much smaller as a result. The destruction in $ terms is also much smaller than those of Sichuan, Indonesia, Chile, Japan, or Katrina at New Orleans.

Mr Lik, there is no argument here, you lost the discussion and you should just admit it.

Mr foul mouth Lik, your accusation is illogical.

We are talking about the relative severity of these disasters.
Clearly, this hurricane is not as bad as those other previous disasters at Sichuan, Indonesia, Chile, Japan, or Katrina at New Orleans.
That does not mean people do not sympathize with those affected.

Clearly, those tofu houses were built with shoddy materials and are not hurricane proof.
