Con Air candidates
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The VPD’s Con Air Top 10 list now only has six fugitives.
A keen-eyed Good Samaritan is credited with spotting the latest fugitive on the wanted list. That person flagged down police officers in the Downtown Eastside Thursday afternoon, saying he'd seen Nathanial Henderson. Henderson is wanted in Ottawa. According to police, when he was arrested, he had a newspaper in his pocket, folded to the page showing his photo on the Top 10 list.
Officers also made two arrests Thursday morning on the Downtown Eastside. Hershel Yellowquill was picked up in a rooming house on East Hastings following a noise complaint around 3:30 a.m. The 27-year-old will be sent back to Winnipeg to answer to a number of charges, including assault.
Later, on Abbott St. at Hastings, officers acted on a tip, knocking on the door and arresting Marchond Earl Lagrone when he answered. Police are getting ready to send him back to Windsor, Ontario.
Alfred Dupont, 50, was picked up Wednesday. His warrants also include assault. He'll be sent back to Ontario.
The top 10 list was released on Tuesday. |
